David Corn asks "Do Bush and Cheney Want to Lose?", but I've been asking myself the question "Do Republicans want to lose this election?" for awhile now.
Today, our SC Senator Lindsay Graham nearly said as much to Wolf Blitzer, and was even questioned by him about his remarks.
I have an inkling that losing the majority in the House and possibly in the Senate is simply the Republicans way of "covering" themselves. I believe that they know that Iraq must be exited in the next two years for them to have a halfway decent shot at retaining the Presidency in the next election. I think it's possible that this entire election is just another scheme to them.
Think about it.
